Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT)

VIATT is the region’s most comprehensive trade fair, covering the full textile value chain: Apparel Fabrics & Fashion, Home & Contract Textiles, and Technical Textiles & Technologies. The event will explore innovative textile technologies, highlight the latest sustainable solutions through the new ‘Econogy’ initiative, and give the chance to connect with industry experts in this dynamic and inspiring setting.

During the trade fair, the Institute's Business and Policy Specialist, Lucie Ladigue, will participate in a seminar where she will delve into the topic: Circularity, Safe Chemistry, ESG Compliance, and Beyond with Cradle to Cradle Certified®.

This session held on 27 February from 10:30 - 11:00am in Hall A Seminar area, will explore strategies for navigating the EU's evolving legislative landscape while staying innovative. The Cradle to Cradle Certified® framework empowers textile supply chain players to design and manufacture future-proof products by addressing safe chemistry, circularity, and ESG-relevant data.

Attendees will also gain insights from Stretz Florian of Saitex Fabrics which currently records over 100 certified products, as well as Dr. Siva Pariti Ph.D. Tech of BluWin, a firm that brings circularity and environmental strategies alive.
