New Board Directors announced
The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of six new members to its Board of Directors.

The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of six new members to its Board of Directors, jointly with the appointment of Dr. Christine Lemaitre as Board Chair. The new members bring additional key experience, networks and leadership from a range of sectors. Their contribution will help achieve the Institute’s mission across the globe and accelerate a safe, just and circular transition.
The new Board Directors, appointed with immediate effect, are:
George Bandy, Jr., global leader in environmental sustainability, circular economy and social responsibility. George is currently Chief Sustainability Officer at Fiber Industries, a leading US fiber manufacturer known for cutting-edge and innovative market leading solutions for the fabric, garment, and fashion industry.
Carlos Correia, expert in sustainability, digital technologies, and business innovation. Throughout his career, Carlos has led large scale business transformations and ESG driven business designed to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges such as renewable energy, sustainability, healthy buildings, EHS, health & well-being, and people safety.
Emily Ewell, CEO and co-founder of leading fashion femtech brand Pantys. With 15 years of experience in healthcare across consumer, pharmaceutical, medical and NGO sectors, Emily has received several international recognitions as a leader in health innovation and sustainability, including as representative for SDG #12 in the UN Global Compact in Brazil.
Daniella Pineda, actress, writer, producer and environmental advocate. Daniella is a public voice supporting positive environmental action. In addition to her career in movies and television, Daniella is involved in various initiatives to advance the climate agenda. In 2021 she was a Fellow for OnDeck’s Climate Tech Fellowship.
Nina Tooley, Head of Marketing and Commerce for climate brand The Cool Down. Nina’s work focuses on educating and inspiring a mass audience around climate, sustainability, and the circular economy, and showing them easy ways to take positive action. Nina has extensive experience across shopping and technology and is actively engaged in various sustainability initiatives.
Victoria Woo, serial entrepreneur with almost 30 years of experience in start-ups, international management, and academia. Victoria is currently the Director of the INSEAD SF Hub of Business Innovation and also teaches entrepreneurship at Stanford University and at Presidio Graduate School of Sustainability.
