Neha Dhanik

Neha Dhanik is Certification Manager at the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute. In this role she supports the Institute’s efforts to advance sustainable product design and manufacturing practices around the globe, and contributes towards expanding the Institute's operations and technical leadership to further accelerate achievement of its goals and mission.
Prior to joining the Institute, Neha served as a Program Director for the non-profit organization Sustainable Westchester, where she successfully built and grew a new program called ‘Zero Waste Westchester’ which simplified access to recycling-related information for residents as well as enabled collaboration across municipalities, county governments, local nonprofit organizations, donation centers, and recyclers. She was also instrumental in kickstarting a ‘Sustainable Landscaping’ program that encompassed various sustainable lawn care practices such as mulch mowing, low-noise and pollution-free maintenance, backyard composting of food and yard waste, and organic pest control methods.
Previously, Neha has worked on a variety of projects in the chemical industry, including research & development, process engineering & improvement, environmental regulatory permitting and reporting, carbon offsets, and renewable energy credits. She has consulted private and public investors on green technology startups and co-authored industry reports that covered bio-based and waste-derived chemicals and fuels.
Neha has a Masters in Environmental Analysis and Decision Making from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India.
