Heather Barker

Heather serves as the Global Vice President of Regulatory for Hygiene at Reckitt, a British multinational consumer goods company, covering brands like Lysol, Harpic, Finish, Vanish and Airwick. In addition, she leads Group Regulatory for Reckitt Group New Growth Platforms to deliver expertise, knowledge and products to businesses as they seek to make their workplaces and outlets hygienically safe and enjoyable, both for consumers and employees. Heather joined RB in 2015 in Canada and relocated to Amsterdam in 2018.

In addition to her roles at Reckitt, she also serves as Vice President, Board of Directors for A.I.S.E. (International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance), the US Cleaning Products Advisory Board and the Netherlands chapter of LEAD (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity). In 2020 she was selected for one of ten industry seats on the EU Commission High Level Roundtable for the implementation of the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability. 

Prior to joining Reckitt, Heather held roles at SC Johnson and Apotex Pharmachem. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a Minor in Nutritional Science and a Master’s degree in Toxicology. She holds a Organizational & Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™) certification from Schouten University.

Reckitt is part of the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Products Program and is working on scaling Cradle to Cradle Certified across product lines and brands.
