Invitation to Comment on C2C Certified®, Draft Version 4.2

We welcome your comments on the draft Version 4.2 Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard (Full Scope) - clean and the new Transparency Reference Document during the public consultation period, beginning 24 October 2025 and ending on 22 November 2025. All comments must be submitted via the comment form. At this time we are seeking feedback only on the sections of the standard where substantive changes have been made compared to Version 4.1. If you would like to provide feedback on other sections of the standard, we welcome this feedback and will consider it as part of future standard development.

Please see the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard (Full Scope), Draft Version 4.2 (tracked changes) and Draft Version 4.2 Transparency Reference Document, which contain all tracked changes. A summary of all changes can be found in the Version 4.1 to Draft Version 4.2 comparison document.

To help us most effectively consider your feedback, please use this form to identify the sections of the standard and line numbers from the “clean” version on which you would like to provide comments, and make your comments clear and specific. As part of your comments, we encourage detailed recommendations for improvement. Positive feedback is also valuable for validating support for the direction of the draft changes when considering all stakeholder input.

All comments submitted via the form will be reviewed by the Institute and the Institute’s Standards Steering Committee at the close of the comment period. Anonymized versions of your comments and the Institute’s responses to your comments will be made publicly available on the Institute's website following the completion of the Version 4.2 development process. You will receive an email notification once these are available on the website.
