Schmid metal ceilings and chilled ceiling systems
Schmid GmbHCertification Number | 8446 |
Valid until: | 03 October, 2026 |

In principle, a cooling/heating ceiling is an underfloor heating - except that the pipes do not run in the floor, and are designed to be invisibly mounted above a suspended ceiling. When temperatures are warm, cold water flows through the pipe system, extracting heat from the room. This results in coolness without drafts. In the cold season, warm water provides radiant heat. In addition, the hybrid ceiling or Ecoboost room climate system can be used to combine heated-cooling ceilings with supply air systems.
