About the product
The precast concrete piles are a type of piles elaborated with high strength concrete and high yield strength steel. These precast piles are manufactured in several dimensions, being the most frequently used CK-235 (235x235), CK-270 (270x270), CK-300 (300x300), CK-350 (350x350) and CK-400 (400x400), with lengths between 5 and 12 meters long. For lengths longer than 12 meters, Rodio Kronsa incorporates a mechanical splice, which is stronger than the precast pile itself, in both bending and compression. Piles are driven into the ground using a top driven hydraulic hammer, which compacts and densifies the surrounding ground.
