PPG internal and external coatings for easy-open-ends and personal care products

PPG iSense® PPG5018 series is for exterior aluminum beverage ends. PPG8500 water-based epoxy coating series for internal aluminum beverage ends holds hot and cold fill types such as teas, coffees, standard CSD, beer, wine, seltzers and more. PPG8000 water-based epoxy coating series for external aluminum beverage ends is designed for high-speed application and end stamping lines. PPG iSense® PPG3766-807F thermal rim coat is a specialty exterior coating for beverage cans and bottles. PPG iSense® PPG5074-805A is a water-based external coating for aluminum monobloc aerosols for food, household, personal care, and pharmaceutical products, and available in gloss, matte, and semi-matte finishes.

PPG iSense® PPG5018-802A, PPG8500-802E, PPG8000-805B, PPG iSense® PPG3766-807F and PPG iSense® PPG5074-805A. This product is intended for use as a material input to a finished product. The results of the assessment for this certification are only valid with verification that human and environmental exposure is sufficiently controlled at the finished product manufacturing facilities. This requires a manufacturing site visit at the applicable facilities. This intermediate product was assessed exclusively for application by professional can manufacturers employing fully closed and sealed transport, manufacturing lines, and/or dosing systems to protect workers and the environment from sensitizing, corrosive, irritating or toxic substances. The requirements for certification have only been met under these conditions.
