Float glass & Laminated glass
Sisecam Flat Glass Italy SRLCertification Number | 11799 |
Valid until: | 25 May, 2028 |
The certificate covers float glass and laminated glass. Float glass is made from raw materials such as silica sand, soda ash, dolomite, feldspar, limestone, and cullet. It is produced using the float process, where molten glass is poured onto molten tin to create a smooth, flat surface. Float glass can be used as-is or used in these processes (coating, laminating, mirroring). Laminated glass is made by bonding two or more sheets of float glass with a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer under heat and pressure, resulting in enhanced safety and durability.
