Elvira Melkert

With a multidisciplinary academic background and diverse range of international experiences, Elvira brings creative and strategic marketing & communications expertise to the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute. Guided by her interest and passion for innovation, design thinking and the circular economy as well as sustainable business practices, Elvira has prior work experience as a creative brand strategist, e-commerce founder, and marketing & communications lead at a food innovation platform. 

As Marketing & Communications Associate, Elvira plays a key role in the execution of the Institute's global marketing and communications strategy across a full range of channels including social media, direct marketing, branding & design, events, website, and campaign coordination & evaluation. She is responsible for a dynamic portfolio of marketing initiatives and is dedicated to building a future that is healthy, circular and fair for people and our planet.

Elvira holds a Bachelor’s degree from Amsterdam University College, complemented by academic undertakings at Parsons the New School for Design, Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts and the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
