Candi Hampton

Candi Hampton is Vice President of Global Sustainability for Shaw Industries Group, Inc., the world’s largest carpet manufacturer and global provider of floor coverings.

In this role, Candi leads the corporate sustainability team, aligning enterprise and business unit strategies to advance Shaw’s sustain[HUMAN]ability® strategy.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning manufacturing, product development, and enterprise excellence, Candi brings deep process knowledge and a collaborative mindset to her leadership. She has played a pivotal role in optimizing products for sustainability, managing certifications, and guiding Shaw’s product stewardship, reclamation and energy teams. Notably, she led the effort to certify Shaw’s EcoWorx® carpet tile to the rigorous Cradle to Cradle Certified® Version 4.0 standard.

Candi earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Polymer, Textile, & Fiber Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a 2022 graduate of IGEL (Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership). In 2025, she was named a Women MAKE Award honoree by the Manufacturing Institute for her leadership and impact.
