LYCRA® fiber is the brand name of the original spandex (elastane) fiber invented in 1958 that is designed to continually stretch return to its original state. LYCRA® Fiber is available from 11 to 2500 decitex and can be combined with other fibers to create fabrics used in different clothes, including activewear, legwear, intimates, swimwear and ready-to-wear apparel.
