TRANSPARENCY DISCLOSURES — Materials in the products covered under this certification comply with the Version 4.0 Restricted Substances List. The company’s GHG emissions data have been verified by an independent third-party certification body in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 and ISO 14064-3:2019. For the reported inventory, Scope 1 (direct) GHG emissions amounted to 2,627.29 tonnes CO₂e and Scope 2 (location-based) GHG emissions amounted to 15,713.39 tonnes CO₂e, resulting in total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 18,340.68 tonnes CO₂e. Emissions are calculated using a location-based methodology based on the average emission intensity of the local power grid, applying an electricity emission factor of 0.474 kg CO₂e/kWh as published by the Taiwan Bureau of Energy in 2024, and Global Warming Potential values from the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6, 2021). The verification was conducted by ARES International Certification Co., Ltd. under reasonable assurance for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with verification completed on June 26, 2025, and covers Kingwhale’s headquarters in Taipei as well as its Dayuan and Toufen final manufacturing facilities.
