Product Description

Bananatex® is made from banana plants and cultivated in the Philippines within a natural ecosystem of sustainable forestry. The fabric is made of 100% abaca fiber, available in different dyed versions (some of the colorants with a C2C Material Health Certificate), and also in its white, undyed version. All versions are available with a water repellency treatment mostly made of bio-based substances.

This certification is considered provisional pending completion of the manufacturing facility site visit, which was postponed due to 2020 - 2021 global travel restrictions.
