Appalachian Real Hardwood Floors became part of the Anderson Hardwood family in 1975 and represents an environmentally responsible choice in engineered and solid hardwood floors. Appalachian Hardwood focuses on a rustic species and character hardwoods that at one time would have been sorted out and sold as scrap.
All Appalachian Hardwood domestic collections are certified "Verified from U.S. Renewing Forests" and all Appalachian Hardwood's exotic collections are "Verified Legal" under the (NWFA) National Wood Flooring Association's (RPP) Responsible Procurement Program which is recognized by the Forest Stewardship Council, US as a stepwise approach to 100% FCS certified timber. All Appalachian products are GREENGUARD® Air Quality Certified for Children and Schools and meet the strict California Air Quality Board (CARB2) requirements.
All Appalachian Hardwood Floors also comply with the recently revised Lacey Act, the United States national wildlife protection statute that has made it a crime to import illegally logged timber products into the U.S. submitting all offshore purchases to the Rainforest Alliance for third party auditing of our chain of custody.
Featuring state-of-the-art finishes and technology, Appalachian Real Hardwood Floors can offer a limited Lifetime structural warranty and limited finish warranties from 30 to 50 years.
